Our World + Nutella

I was first introduced to Nutella in middle school French class. I'm not exactly sure if my teacher even actually spoke French, but we did make crepes every Friday, which we topped with Nutella. Every time I tasted the hazelnut spread, it took me right back to that classroom in the fall. The smell of the old heater, crepes cooking on the griddle, my back pressed up against the cold window as I sat on the sill with a paper plate and clumsily rolled dessert. As of only a few months ago, Nutella brings me a new memory. One of sitting on a bench in the Lower East Side, watching as a festival of people walk by in the chilly evening. Both are good memories. Nutella is a good thing.

These are 5 of my favorite Nutella recipes!

 1. No Bake Nutella Cheesecake
By: Jamie from MyBakingAddiction

This recipe is amazing. I would change up the crust, using a graham cracker crust instead of an Oreo one. To make a great graham cracker crust mix 1 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers, 1/3 cup sugar, and 6 tablespoons melted butter. Press the mixture into your Cheesecake cups.

2. Nutella Hot Cocoa
By: Honey What's Cooking

Hot chocolate is yummy, Nutella is yummy, Nuella Hot Chocolate is yummIER! Top this masterpiece with some homemade whipped cream and cuddle up with a heavy book.

3. Nutella Croissants
By: Diana De Cicco at She Knows

Nutella has always been a breakfast food for me. Even if that meant breakfast was a spoonful of the stuff. These breakfast croissants would be beautiful for a Sunday morning, paired with mimosas and pajamas.

4. Chocolate Nutella Martini
By: Kristina Cuzmic

I am in love with chocolate martinis. I could not, in good conscience, publish a list of Nutella recipes with out a martini. I would recommend using Pinnacle whipped vodka in this recipe.

5. Nutella Brownies
By: Karly Campbell

Food Porn. Nutella brownies are food porn. Make them, eat them, feel the love.
