Friday Mornings

On days like today, I'm tempted to skip breakfast. We had a 7:15 appointment at the house with our landlord, immediately followed by a 9:15 appointment at the pediatrician for Kasper's second round of vaccinations. I made the commitment to eat healthier though, and breakfast is a big part of that.

I've never been much of a breakfast person. I was notorious about skipping it when I was in college, and the typical breakfast foods just don't really do it for me.

Lately I've been eating a bowl of what Germans call Musli. Its basically granola with fruits and nuts in it. I add about 3/4 cup of almond milk and half a banana for a super healthy breakfast that keeps me full and energetic all day!
